I know about a chain called The Historic Inns of Annapolis, on 58 State Circle. Actually there are only three of them, but they are charming and you feel like they take you back in time. The rooms are tastefully furnished with original and and replica antiques and each one has a private bathroom. There is no gym, but there is a local health club very near. The inns have a total of 128 rooms. Prices start at $40.
