The museum is very visitor friendly and boasts exhibits that witness the entire maritime history of the United States from its very beginnings up to the end of the 20th century. They also have an audio tour that explains in detail facts about the exhibits. Some parts of the museum are closed though because damages from the Isabel Hurricane. The entry fee is $10.
