As a matter of fact, yes. These islands lie on some 600 square miles, beginning at the Lake Superior costline. Their name was given by the French missionaries that only counted 12 of the islands. In truth, there are 22. Tourists go there for the beaches and some nostalgic lighthouse explorations. I enjoy wandering through the caves - some dark and tiny, other cathedral-sized. Arrange a boat excursion at 715-779-3397.
