Are there any camping sites in Aspen, Colorado?(give a different answer) .
In case you're a backpacker trekking in Aspen, and you have no problem in staying in a tent, then the National Forest's Aspen Ranger District in W Hallam is the best option you could think of. They will direct you to one of their 9 camping grounds. The campsite costs 14$ each. Hint: watch out for the bears in the area, sometimes there are plenty of them.
