For sure you should try the Guest House of the University Inn that has rooms for $100 with big beds, but I advice you to take the one for $130 - it's a kind of romantic one. These meet almost all standard conditions: air conditioning, free parking, free phone calls, bathroom...
Be aware that all rooms are nonsmoking.
