Worth a visit is the Oakland Cemetery, located on 248 Oakland Ave SE. There you will find the 'Gone with the Wind' author Margaret Mitchel, golf great Bobby Jones buried and many other interesting Victorian and neoclassical monuments. Stop at the visitors center for a walking brochure. Admission is free.
