In Idaho there is this Idaho Travel Council. I think it's what you are looking for if you want to find out more about campgrounds, but for hiking, backpacking or rafting you should contact the regional travel associations and local chambers of commerce or Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association (800/847 48 43). That's about all I can help you with.
