Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay

This is much more than a botanical garden, it's more like a miniature national park. They have flower, rhododendren and perennial gardens, huge granite sculptures, ponds and and hiking trails over 248 acres of forest. A visit here could easily become a one day adventure. And even better, there is no entry fee. You can find it on Barters Island Road.
