Well, yes, something like that. You probably heard about the Massachussetts State House, the golden domed cpitol. it was built way back in the 18th century, and it was actually copper that covered it in the beginning. Nowadays the dome is indeed covered with 23 karats gold. It's on the highest point of the city so you can't miss it
