Any high-rate hotel in Charlotte? my wife would kill me if I took her to scruffy places..(give a different answer) .
I guess she won't have any complaints if you rent at the Dunhill Hotel, very well placed in the vicinity of the Levine Museum of the New South, the Convention Center, Discovery Place, and the Mint Museum of Craft and Design. Better call them before arrival at 704-332-4141, the 60 rooms might be occupied. If your wife makes a scene, just make her put on the soft bathrobe and the slippers, send her for a fragranced bath and call the non-stop roomservice for a champagne!
