A museum for kids: Discovery Place, Charlotte

Posted 1 year ago by jhony in response to nonside's question: Where can I take my 6 year-old boy in Charlotte to have a little fun? The parks are no longer enough to keep him busy (give a different answer) .

ON 301 N. Tryon Street, there's the Discovery place, especially made for children to learn biology, geology, chemistry, physics stuff in an entertaining way through games. There is even a section designed for kids under 6 years old, with water activities and toys all around. The museum only has two floors, but it contains an ocean pool, a tropical rainforest and something you really shouldn't pass by - the planetarium.
