Tallest buildings in Charlotte

Posted 1 year ago by kirill in response to avatar moxie's question: I'm under the impression Charlotte doesn't own any impressive buildings...can you name at least one? I'm an architect and I'm into this stuff. (give a different answer) .

The Bank of America is the peak touching the sky in Charlotte at 266m, I say it's really a nice construction. Two other imposing buildings stand by its side: the Wachovia on the left, and the Transamerica on the right (all 3 in uptown). What I noticed about Charlotte is that it's a very interesting mixture of old and new architecture...garden terraces on one hand, squeaky homes on the other
