Charlotte Amtrak train station

Posted 1 year ago by won in response to pinpen's question: I'll stay in Charlotte for about one week. If it hits me one morning to go for a trip to other cities in North Carolina- Wilson, Raleigh, Cary, Salisbury, Greensboro, High Point, what means of transport are there available? (give a different answer) .

You should take the Carolinian train from the Amtrak Station on North Tryon, two miles away from uptown Charlotte. It's the best way to enjoy landscapes, because it's not very fast, you don't have to pay any attention at the road as it happens when you rent a car, and it's really safe. The Carolinian crosses the state, so you'll taste them all: Rocky Mount, Wilson, Selma, Raleigh, Durham, High Point, Salisbury, and Kannapolis.
