Thomas Jefferson's house in Charlottesville

Posted 1 year ago by avatar morena in response to queen's question: Where was Thomas Jefferson's house in Virginia? was it in richmond? (give a different answer) .

No, it was in Charlottesville actually. This is where he lived and worked on his inventions. It's a memorial house now and it's called Monticello. It is a museum now that you can visit each day from 10 to 5, except for mondays. It's East of town, nbut you can walk . Admission is 12 $
