Apart from the Gay Pride Parade held in Spring in Chicago, there's also this North Holsted Market Days in mid August when thousands of "enthusiasts" gather and party. Wild costumes, wild booths and wild parties . This how I would summarise this event. Not that only the gay scene would take part in it :)
