The best places to be visited in Denver are for sure the places outside town, the Rocky Mountains, for example. Their Front Range goes from Colorado Springs north to Fort Collins along the I-25 route and includes a wide list of small towns, such as Boulder, Estes Park or Nederland. The scenery is absoultely breathtaking, so I stronlgy advise you take your car and drive as much as you can.
