Living History Farms, Des Moines

Posted 1 year ago by roberta in response to sonny's question: What's Des Moines' top attraction? (give a different answer) .

I spent almost a day walking around Living History Farms, a 600 acre open air museum. Exploring the farms gives you the distinctive feeling of travelling back in time : lively views, sounds and even smells of the 18th century Native American Village. There are 2 working farms dating back from 1850 and 1900 and a 1875 little town. It's $10 for entering, the seating is on 2600 NW 111th St.
