If you're into white water rafting, then the Tygart river is the place to go. It's right outside the town of Elkins in WV and here's the route I took last year with my friends : starting from the Tygart Loop, going through the Tygart Gorge, then coming town at the Mouth of Buckhannon to Philippi, and finally the Big Cove Run. The more experienced can go even further to the Colfax Mill Creek. Can even set your tent in this beauiful surroundings and try again the next day.
