It's located opposite the Ala Moana Center, on the shore of Mamala Bay. It's a great place for relaxation. There are full beach facilities, tennis courts and softball fields. It's big enough not to feel crowded, although it is like that in weekends. If you swim, be careful about the former boat channel that runs the length of the beach at low tide, it's dangerous for poor swimmers as it suddenly drops in depth.
