Language issues in Hawaii/ Honolulu

Posted 1 year ago by rita in response to avatar arnold's question: Does everybody speak English in Hawaii - Honolulu? Are there any situations when you might have communication problems? (give a different answer) .

You you shouldn't and won't have communication problems in Hawaii. Hawaiian language is spoken by less and les people every day, and all Hawaiian speakers are supposed to speak English. You'll also meet pidgin speakers, who are more numerous. Their pronounciation seems tricky, but you'll understand it, and he will speak normal English anyway. So there shouldn't be problems, I guess.
