Smoking rooms in Honolulu hotels

There are increasingly less hotels that allow smokers. I know for a fact that Ohana East has smoking floors, but smoking is absolutely banned in rooms. The Miramar hotel has smoking rooms, but only a few, and you must make a reservation in advance for such a room. I heard about many poeple who dismantled the smoke detectors in their rooms, but this is not possible everywhere, so I wouldn't try it, just imagine the consequences.
