Honolulu's public transportation system is actually known as the Bus (808/ 848 5555), which has routes all over the island, and the fare for one journey costs $1(dollar bills are accepted). If you plan to make many trips along the island, it's better to get a 4 day pass ($10) or in case you go there for a longer period, get yourself a monthly pass for $25.
