Actually, it's the site of the Hopi Tribal headquarters. You'll get to see charming greeneries and peach orchards in Kykotsmovi village, set in the eastern part. The oldest settlement in the US is said to have been found on the Third Mesa as well, in today's Oraibi, dating back to 1150 AD. Anyway, don't lose yourself in the landscape and stare through binoculars, shoot hundred of pictures, take notes - you might get into deep trouble with the Hopi, who have a problem about privacy.
