Tongass National Forest, Juneau

Posted 1 year ago by avatar lovely in response to avatar kheng's question: Is there any green area in Juneau where I could spend a quite afternoon and maybe observe the animals? (give a different answer) .

My precious Tongass National Forest, I can share it with you, if you ask me in your knees. Joking, honey bunny! Anyway, the Tongass is the largest forest of Alaska, covering almost 17 million acres. You can watch the bald eagles, brown bears, deers, mountain goats, wolves and bears...if you're not a yellow dog. It's a temperate rain forest. Enter the animals' kingdom near Centennial Hall!
