Go to the Perry Lake Camping (on 601 E 12th Street Kansas City, Mo 64106). It offers 5 campgrounds among which is Rock Creek Park where I stayed for about a week last summer. This 568 acre park is located on the west side of the lake including 108 campsites (and 50 have water and electrical) having boat ramps, group shelter houses, showers, courtesy dock, playgrounds and fish cleaning stations. It's $17.00 for electric/water sites, $16.00 for electric only sites and $12.00 for non-electric sites between May 1 - September 30.
