I chose the Perry Lake Hiking Trail which was among the first National Recreation Trails in Kansas. It has about 30 miles, starting at Slough Creek Park and ending at the same point. You should take plenty of food and water along with you, not to forget about the first aid supplies and camera as there are wonderful landscapes to capture.
