Redfish Lake hosts several recreation opportunities including boating, camping, hiking, and there is the Redfish Lake Lodge which shelters a restaurant and boat rentals. Redfish Lake is known for the Sockeye Salmon which once returned from the ocean in such large quantities that the lake got red. It is located in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.
