friendship's question: what are the main areas in Las Vegas that a first visitor should explore?(give a different answer) .
The most glamorous are the Strip and Downtown. Many people confine themselves to these 2 areas only...but it's actually more to see, like the Paradise Road and East Vegas...it's true they may not be as sparkling, but they're more peaceful, away from the casino action. Maryland Parkway is a good opportunity for alternative culture shopping and there are good restaurants all over the city.
