It's a 13 miles drive till the Red Rock Canyon...with spectacular views that are worth a stop. You can just stop along the way and have a picnic while enjoying the views, or take a hike. Tip: as you're driving, try to notice the milky white limestone alternating with iron rich red rocks. It's a fabulous landscape..
