Tell me a calm nature spot in Connecticut where I can escape the New York City chaos...(give a different answer) .
The hills of the teeny Litchfield are rewarding...they're set in northern Conneticut, at the feet of the Berkshire Mountains, covering a 1000 square miles surface. You'll come across a landscape that didn't change since the18th century -farmhouses, red barns, stone walls and lakes (the Bantam is the largest natural lake of the state). People breed horses here, and Congregational churches are countless.
