I stated for a couple of days at the USA Hostels Hollywood. It's a well-run hostel on Schrader Blvd, no. 1624, close to public transportation and the Greyhound bus station. It's a good place to meet other travelers as the owner threw barbecues and parties. The rooms are neat and have private bathroom. The prices range from 22 usd for a dormitory bed to 65 usd for a room. Prices include linen, pancake breakfast and all-day coffee and tea.
