The Redcat theater (Redcat meaning Roy and Edna Disney Cal Arts Theater) is known as the best venue for experimental theater. This is the place to go for cutting-edge performances of art, dance, readings, film and videos. Since it opened in 2003 it has been the destination of many avantgarde artists, local and international. Location: 631 W 2nd St, Downtown. Do take a peak on their website, too: www.redcat.org.
