Delicious curries at Surya in Los Angeles

Definitely go to Surya, an Indian restaurant at 8048 W 3rd St, in mid-city. Surya is the Hindu god of sun that's why maybe, they've painted the inside walls in the saffron color. This place is always open for dinner and, Monday to Friday, you can also take your lunch there. The staff is friendly and helpful with the menu and the food is great- order steamy naan or anything out of the tandoor (the clay oven). Prices are nice, too: 9 to 22 dollars for a main course.
