I used to take my dinners at Madame Matisse, a French bistro located at 3536 W Sunset Blvd, on the Silver Lake strip. It was originally intended as a breakfast place, but the dinner dishes are truly exquisite- try the traditional Provence dishes such as the duck breast. Prices range from 6 to 9 USD for breakfast and lunch and 10 to 18 USD for dinner. The bistro keeps open from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm.
