Los Angeles, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Posted 1 year ago by carl in response to avatar jeremy's question: I'd like to take my kids to an aquarium. Can you name me one in LA? (give a different answer) .

There is a small one in San Pedro, a harbor community on the edge of Worldport LA. More exactly, the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is at 3720 Stephen Write DR. It houses jellyfish, sharks, starfish and other aquatic species that live in rocky shores, the sandy beaches and the open ocean. The aquarium also runs children educational programs, whale-watching trips and grunion-watches. The admission is by donation with a minimum suggestion of 5 dollars for grown ups and 1 dollar for children.
