lizette's question:
A zoo park in LA?(give a different answer) .
Los Angeles Zoo&Botanical Gardens - which was settled in 1912 as a refuge for retired circus animals. It is now the home of 1200 animals and of a larger number of trees and plants. The most popular residents are Gita, the elephant, and the alligator Methuselah. This is a quite a playground for children who can spend fun time on the Adventure Island or at the new Children's Discovery Center. Admission is 5 dollars for kids and 10 dollars for grown ups.
