An interesting building in Downtown LA? Architecturally or historically point of view.(give a different answer) .
The Richard Riordan Central Library on W 5th Street, Financial District is pretty interesting if you ask me. It was built in 1922 after the design by Bertram Goodhue. The building has a pyramid at the top. Sphinxes welcome you at the 5th street entrance and the second floor's rotunda is decorated with a beautiful mural. The children's section has also a Spanish Colonial painted wood beamed ceiling and another historical mural. The adjacent Maguire Gardens were added in later.
