My favorite shop that sells beauty products is Kiehl's - on Montana Ave, no. 1516, Santa Monica. It's a nicely decorated store, designed to look as an old-time apothecary. The merchandise displayed is the latest in health and beauty cosmetics, from face cream to lip balm to sunscreen. They give free samples if you ask them.
