makka's question: I'll be visiting LA and I wonder what souvenirs can I take home. Is there a store selling stuff that used to belong to great Hollywood stars?(give a different answer) .
Head for Burbank area, there is a store on West Magnolia Ave, no. 3315, called "It's a Wrap". It sells clothing items from tank tops to tuxedos worn by TV or movie actors. And everything, including designer clothes is sold at discount prices. The clothes have tags with the name of the show or sometime the actor's name, so you can have what to brag about.
