Definitely go to Santa Monica Place on 395 Santa Monica Blvd. It has incredible ocean views - the mall was used in movies, such as Terminator II. It has designer boutiques, the popular Robinson-May and Macy's stores. There is a huge food court with international quality dishes at decent prices. It is also the location of Santa Monica Visitors Center. Check this website www.santamonicaplace.com for discount coupons.
