Is there by any chance a special happening in August in Mankato?(give a different answer) .
August is actually the month in which the town is celebrating its annual festival, Hickory Street Ribfest. One may enjoy award-winning ribs while listening to a wide variety of live bands; also featured are children's games and activities. I think it's a good time for any age! There is music, beverages and most important, GOOD FOOD!!! :) If you'd like to know more, here's the phone: 507-345-4519.
