In order to take a walking tour in Miami, I had to contact the Miami Design Preservation League (at Ste 207, 1234 Washington Ave, tel 305 672 2014). They are providing the Deco District walking tours program for 20 $, departing at 10:30 am from the Art Deco Welcome Center ,1001 Ocean Dr. The self-guided audio tour cost me about 15 $ more.

So cheap is what you're looking for ... well, beside the parks and the underground - which really are the chepest…the Museum of Modern Art in New York City
