If you want to have the creme de la creme, I think you should accomodate in the Music Valley area , ten miles from downtown. I stayed at the Grand Ole Opry House there, a huge Vegas-style hotel and had the opportunity to subscribe to all sorts of exciting activities such as guided backstage tours, friday and Saturday night shows and concerts, all very country.
