There are many hotels like that in New Orleans, but there is one that makes you feel like you're in "Interview with a Vampire". It's on Toulouse street, in the French Quarter, very New Orleans ambience, with angel statues on the ceiling, wall tapestries, brick-and-stucco exterior, gas lamps and shaded courtyard. The rooms look old, but they are clean, well furnished and equipped with all facilities. The rates start at $150, but it could be much more in high season or during Mardi Gras.
