The Audubon Zoo, New Orleans

Posted 1 year ago by wigger in response to ianis's question: What zoos do you know in New Orleans? (give a different answer) .

There is only one zoo in New Orleans, called the Audubon Zoo, on Magazine street. It is very beautiful, the alleys are woodened and it has around 1800 animals placed in natural habitats settings, including a Louisiana swamp and an African savanna. There is also a petting zoo and some times sea lions and elephant feedings take place. The entry fee is $9.
