marcelus's question:
What can you say about the French Quarter in New Orleans after the Katrina hurricane, is it really that bad?(give a different answer) .
The place used to be great, but after the Katrina hurricane it lost some of its charm. There are too many strip clubs opened on the premises of former businesses, hotels and restaurants are understaffed and short of supplies. Around 30% of shops and restaurants on Bourbon street are renovating or rebuilding. But it looks like things are moving in the right direction and I heard New Orleans will have regained much of its former glory by the next Mardi Gras.
