I actually have seen 2 of them. One is the Welcome Center in the heart of the French Quarter, in Jackson square. Here you can get free maps of the town as well as ask almost any kind of question. Another useful office would be the Jean Lafitte National Historic Park Visitor Center - here you can find out anything about the National park
