There are two kinds of public transportation in New Orleans: bus and streetcar, which is another name for a tram. The fare for both is $1,25, exact change is required, and a day-pass is $5. There are three streetcar routes called St. Charles Streetcar, The Riverfront Streetcar along the Mississippi and The Vieux Carre Streetcar, going through the French Quarter to the Convention Center. The customer service phone line is : 504-248-3900.
