28$ dorm beds at the Jazz Hostel, New York City

I spent three nights at the Jazz Hostel on 307, E 14th St, with some other five people in the room, but they also have dorms for 3 people. It was nice, as in the evening we all got to the rooftop terrace, drank beer, and made fun of the "no jumping" sign. There are machines to wash your beer-spotted T-shirts, computers to check ur e-mail, and just a 28$ fee per night!
