The Kitano is owned by a Japanese guy, but if I remember well only the special 890$ suite used tatami mats, tea ares and wooden floors...toooo expensive, my opinion, even if they gave me Jackie Chan as a roommate! The rest of the rooms are priced at 350$ and have normal desks, flat TVs, WiFi access. For booking ahead call 212-885-7000!
